1. Introduction to REBT - 10/16/2006
           
In this video / audio, I discuss the purpose of this video / audio series. I also go over the basics of REBT, and how the techniques are used to help people disturb themselves less.

People often disturb themselves over relationships. Since we are social creatures, we live our lives within relationships. Partners, bothers, sisters, mother and father can all do things that trigger us to disturb ourselves.

Jealousy can be an unhealthy negative emotion, and it can be a low level healthy concern. It serves the you best to keep jealousy as a concern so that the emotion doesn't get in the way of a rational reaction.

Homosexuality can be looked at from the view of a person who is homosexual, and from a person who doesn't agree with homosexuality. Each disturb themselves differently, and here we look at both.
